What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep you signed in and — only if you consent — to measure aggregate usage of the site.
Types of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Authentication, session, security | Always on |
| Analytics | Anonymous aggregate visit counts | Opt-in |
Managing or withdrawing consent
When you first visit Legalfy, a banner asks you to accept or reject analytics cookies. Your choice is stored on your device. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, or by using the cookie banner (which reappears if no choice is stored).
Essential cookies cannot be disabled, as the site would not function without them.
Analytics data
If you consent, we record an anonymous visit log each time you load a page. This includes the page path, referrer, approximate device/browser/OS, screen resolution, language, and a truncated (anonymised) IP address. We do not use full IP addresses to identify individuals. Analytics logs are automatically deleted after 12 months.
Third-party cookies
Our payment provider (Stripe) may set its own cookies on its checkout pages, governed by its own privacy policy. We do not control those cookies.
Your choices in your browser
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Note that disabling all cookies may prevent you from signing in.
